McDonald’s Founder’s Day: A Celebration of Ray Kroc and His Legacy

Founder’s Day at McDonald’s is an internal celebration that honors the contribution of Ray Kroc—the man responsible for turning McDonald’s into a global leader in the fast-food industry. Although McDonald’s was founded by the McDonald brothers, it was Kroc, who joined in the 1950s, who played a key role in the company’s expansion and success.

This year, we are celebrating Founder’s Day in over 10 restaurants, with more than 300 employees having the opportunity to receive support and ask their questions directly to the company’s management team. The managers of all restaurants will actively engage in reminding everyone of McDonald’s core values, creating a space for sharing enjoyable moments and, of course, delicious food.

On October 10th, we will also mark Mental Health Day, highlighting our commitment to the well-being of our people. Caring for employees is a core value at McDonald’s, and through this initiative, we aim to promote open dialogue about the importance of mental health. Our goal is to create a work environment that not only supports physical health but also emphasizes the emotional and psychological well-being of every team member.
